Mohini Visions had designed several products already for the EU project OpenArch. By early December 2011, a request came in to make a poster to be presented at a conference. This is a whole other type of poster than ‘street posters’ as in such a case, somebody would be presenting the poster to the participants to the conference. The poster caries more information than usual. In this case, the conference was an international one where the idea was to present one of the Work Packages of OpenArch, being experimental archaeology.

Annual archaeological Journal of EXARC
Mohini Visions took the job of designing the yearly journal of EXARC, the EXARC JOURNAL Digest. After having been made by another company for seven years it was decided to bring the journal more in line with the other products of the association and by that having one single corporate identity for all publications. A full colour journal counting 36 pages was made. It is printed in a circulation of 500, on A4 size, interior: 135 g wood free satin mc (gloss), cover: 250 gr wood free satin mc (gloss). From 2012 there will be a digital version of the Journal three times a year, presented on the EXARC website. The printed EXARC JOURNAL Digest will be a kind of "best of".
See Images for a sample of pages of the 2011 Journal.

Following the development of the corporate identity of EXARC, September 2011 was used to design the magazine. The new EXARC JOURNAL Digest was sent to print in November. What went with that of course were adverts. As done in previous years, we developed several of those this time as well. One of those, for VAEE, is based on the corporate identity Mohini Visions developed in 2008 for this society, the other one is matching the style of the website of AZH. Both in full colour, 90 x 134 mm.

Once ready with making the websites for the Grundtvig projects of this society, we have started with new websites for EXARC and their magazine, EXARC JOURNAL. This is already the 3rd generation website; Mohini Visions constructed for EXARC over the years (see 2003 and 2007). However it was about time again, due to technical developments as well as a change in style.

While working on several websites for different EU projects, we had to come up with a logo for the bulletin of EXARC. For seven years the Journal was known as EuroREA and had its own logo, but 2011 the name was changed to EXARC JOURNAL. With that a new logo had to be designed.

Following two series of small adverts for EuroREA of several archaeological open air museums across Europe, this time we made a page filling advert for the main organisation behind this journal - EXARC itself. Mohini Visions designed it in the coroporate identity we previoulsy developed for them. The sizes are 7.2 x 10.8 inch, printed in EuroREA 7/2010 (circulation of 1,000). Made in concordance with the website, applying small changes to the previous format which we made three years ago. The changes were needed because of an important presentation by the end of January by Archeo Interface. We spent specifically a lot of time on a single graph which should instantly clarify 40 years history. Many illustrations were incorporated. Hopefully the present format will last several years, as template.

Cover and design for BAEE Journal

VAEE asked Mohini Visions to create a whole package: a poster, a folder and to design a cover for the Journal BAEE, which they publish 3 times a year. This should go with an example of how the new cooperative identity would influence the look of the contents. Since Mohini Visions took care of the design of BAEE for a period of 5 years in the past, we were familiar with the public and the image which the VAEE was searching for.
