For a new EXARC EU project, the five year project OpenArch with 11 partners we designed shields. With just a logo and a handful of words we had to be creative and playful when designing. Like with the simultaneously developed EXARC shield this one can be placed near the main entrance of a participating museum. This way, the visitor will know immediately that the museum is participating in an EU project. The shields (we printed 12) are 26 x 20 cm (10.2 x 7.9 inch), printed on SK-PVC Premium gloss, pulled on 3 mm 3A Dibond, matt and in full color Euroscala/Digital print).

With their new website (September 2011), the decision was made to design a completely new corporate identity. As a start we designed several products to be printed in September 2011, just in time for the conference season which started by the end of that month. Already back in 2004 all members received a shield to place near their entrance by means of which they could show they were member of EXARC. In the meantime, EXARC got many more members and the old shields were depleted by long. That is why as one of the first tasks, we designed a new shield.

Before being printed, several images needed work. One needed another background or light, in another case the size of certain elements needed to be changed, or a face expression needed polishing. A third image was in black&white, very old and with stains and damages which needed repair. Besides that, a background image was created for a wall covering which is printed on canvas and glued to the wall. The sizes are 13x15 feet. For this, we used different pictures to create a single collage.

A complete set of printing which includes all for the wedding: two kinds of invitations (for the guest who joined all day or just two of the parts - see the illustrations for more explanation: invitation 1 & 2), an inlay (for extra guests), stickers / thank you notes, a church book (interior and outside cover), personal menu cards... all of that in one style and also in one size 6'' x 6''. Everything was printed in full colour (except for the contents of the church book, which was printed in black-and-white).

When kids in the special Archaeology Week would have successfully completed a day of projects (excavating, drawing and gluing shards to mention a few) they receive a personalised "archaeological diploma". Printed in the museum itself, black&white, size A4 . Besieds this, a card was designed which the children ran through the whole course and scored points at each station.

A nice occupation – puzzling through the middle ages. At the back, you can find all answers as well as the year programme of events. The front side (full colour) was printed in a high number, with every season a part of them being printed in black&white. This product was used for three years in the museum inn and several restaurants in town. A3 size, 160 gr.
