It was necessary to add a new folder to a series we developed for JKP RMD. Within the organisation, a department exists which among others accommodates workshops and rents out facilities for those. This new folder was supposed to be developed in a similar style as the previous five folders – they use the same accommodations and locations aside of some facilities of their own. We chose for a colour scheme which fits well with the series, but keeping the own identity in mind for this department and theme.

Folder "Invitation for a Retreat Program"

"Invitation for a Retreat Program""Invitation for a Retreat Program"

For Client:
Completed on:
July 2011

This personal invitation was made referring to the possibility for a Retreat Week which would take place in October 2011. Just like with the new calendar, it would be a way to draw more attention to future events. In previous years, a simple and impersonal email was sent only. This year, the idea was that a more personal approach would lead to a higher participation. The website included a separate part with more information and the option to register.
The invitation was made in the charming “gate fold”, creating a clear sense of inside – outside. We selected light colours for the outside in order to create a “wow” feeling when opening the folder.

Six months before we made this folder, we had made four others for the lobby of the Radha Madhav Dham temple. Each of these folders was themed with another aspect: the available accommodations in the ashram, a tour through it, information for those interested in helping or donating for the Sunday lunch and finally one with general information about Radha Madhav Dham itself.

Two and a half years after the first print work (business cards, flyers), it got about time to develop something new. The 2008 flyer remained our starting point but with the amount of information to be used this time, we chose to make a folder with four panels. When folded, it is the same size as the flyer (3.9 x 8.3 in).
Because of the time schedule we chose to print a first circulation immediately. May 2011, a second print will follow with adding the 3rd theme and a better designed cover. Printed 4/4 (full colour), 170 grams, wood free mat mc, 1,000 copies.

After two years it was about time for a new folder (the old one had been reprinted twice). There were new offers as well as new information for the target groups. The size and style were adjusted but we tried to play with the same ideas as previously. Besides the existing colours of the corporate design another colour was introduced as well as a new font. The size is A4, folded lengthwise (after folding it is 29.7 cm (11.1’’) tall and 10.5 cm (4.1’’) wide). Circulation 1,000 pieces, 4/4, 170g mat coated paper.
