Mobile Job Agency - the cupboard

This cupboard is part of the Mobile Job Agency project. The design cannot be seen separate from this. Here, the materials are explained in detail.

Technical information - construction of the cupboard

Stainless steel pipes (Ø 40 mm / 0.2'', 855 mm / 33.7'' tall), for the construction, are connected below the flooring. The flooring and the 'stage' are built around them.

Step 1.
Stainless steel pipes Ø 48.3 mm / 1.9'', 150 mm / 5.9'' tall are mounted around the long pipes.

Step 2.
In the cupboard (590 x 380 x 2450 mm - 23.2'' x 15'' x 96.5'') holes are drilled at Ø 40 mm / 0.2''. One lowers the cupboard over the tall pipes.

Step 3.
The cupboard is also mounted to the wall (see detail 1, Images).

Step 4.
Then one moves the stainless steel pipes Ø 48.3 mm / 1.9'', 87 mm / 3.4'' high across the long pipes, Steel strips are welded on these.

Step 5.
The strips are connected to the wall (see detail 2, Images).

Step 6.
In the work surface, holes are drilled Ø 40 mm / 0.2'', 13.5 mm / 0.5'' tall. Through these the Stainless steel pipes of 855 mm / 33.7'' fit perfectly.

Step 7.
The work surface is connected to the strips.
